About
The Military Veteran Alpine Challenge (MVAC) is an eight-month program crafted to deliver an exceptional experience that blends personal growth with a strong sense of community.
Participants will tackle meaningful challenges while exploring innovative approaches to managing chronic pain and enhancing physical well-being.
The program addresses the complexities of transitioning from military to civilian life and introduces practical tools such as pain science, breath work, quality sleep strategies, and meditation.

The Alpine Challenge aims to offer participants a transformative experience that fosters a sense of achievement, challenge, and camaraderie. Before and during the event, veterans will gain valuable insights into pain science, movement therapy, and the unique psychological and social challenges they face. The program includes discussions on military identity and mindset awareness post-service, incorporating techniques like breathwork, proper sleep, and meditation. These skills are designed to benefit participants long after the event concludes.
Additionally, the event will raise awareness for CPCoE and its vital work supporting Canadian veterans with chronic pain, showcasing CPCoE as a key facilitator and resource provider.
