Dr. Lindsay Rite Founder and Program Developer
Dr. Lindsay Rite is the Director of Integrative Health at Changepain Medical & Allied Health Clinic (CPC), overseeing the Allied Health and Rehabilitation Team, Pain Programs, and Pain Neuroscience Education Services. She maintains a Chiropractic practice, assists with Physician-led Shared Care pain consultations, and is trained in movement and exercise therapy.
As a Registered Kinesiologist and CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist, she employs personalized education and a range of manual and instrument-assisted therapies to address complex pain conditions, including chronic fatigue syndrome and CRPS.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Rite has been pivotal in developing pain management programs with BCCA and Pain BC, contributing to initiatives like the BC ECHO for Chronic Pain and the Psychosocial Community of Practice. She co-led the first Military Veterans Alpine Challenge and continues to support the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Canadian Veterans (CPCoE). Her research and professional contributions extend to various publications and collaborative projects.
Dr. Rite also has a background in sport management, working with teams such as Athletics at the Pan American Games and Rugby Sevens. In her personal time, she enjoys exploring BC’s trails and nature, embodying the active and holistic lifestyle she advocates for her patients.

Tom Hoppe MSC, MB, CD, MA. Founder and Program Developer
Tom Hoppe served in the Canadian Armed Forces with distinction for 20 years. Post-military, he has been deeply involved in Veterans' issues, focusing on educating government officials about necessary programs, transition needs, and benefits.
Tom has held roles such as President of a national Veterans’ organization, member of the Department of National Defence Ombudsman Advisory Committee, Chair of the Veterans Affairs Ombudsman Advisory Committee, and advisor on Senator Dallaire’s council. He has testified as an expert witness before Parliamentary and Senate Committees on Veterans’ legislation and benefits. Tom is also the former Chair of the Chronic Pain Centre Excellence Advisory Council for Veterans and co-authored research on military identity and chronic pain. He hosts "The Most Painful Podcast."
Tom is an avid outdoor enthusiast qualified as an instructor for the Field Leader Guiding Program through the Outdoor Council of Canada.

Dr., Major (retired) Luc J. Hébert, fellow PT, PhD, CD Research Team Lead and Coordinator
Dr. Major (Ret.) Luc J. Hébert, a physiotherapy graduate from the University of Montreal in 1982, also holds a master’s in Biomedical Sciences (1989) and a PhD in Experimental Medicine (2001). He is a leading researcher at CIRRIS, director of research at the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine department, and a full professor at Université Laval. Dr. Hébert also teaches at UQAC and Sherbrooke Universities and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto.
His 14-year military career included roles as the National Physiotherapy Training Director for CF Health Services, where he developed a comprehensive research program. His research has focused on military health, including musculoskeletal injuries and innovative imaging techniques. Dr. Hébert has secured nearly $6 million in research funding and published extensively in his field.
Dr. Hébert has received several awards, including the Canadian Decoration and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's Centenary Medal of Distinction. He has made significant contributions to muscle assessment standards and rehabilitation, training over a thousand clinicians and setting international standards for muscle impairment assessment.
